Achille passed peacefully with his family by his side on September 16. Remembered by his loving wife Pina, his children Jason (Jane) and Steven (Linda), and his five grandchildren Julian, Jessica, Justin, Jayden, and Julianna.
Quiet, thoughtful, and deeply peaceful, Achille was a man of few words... unless you got him talking about politics or the news. He had a gentle presence that made everyone feel heard.
Achille was defined by quiet strength and deep dedication. He spent over 30 years at SickKids Hospital, working his way through various technical roles. He repeatedly turned down management roles to stay grounded with his friends at work, building lifelong friendships that endured to his final days.
To give his family security, he worked six days a week, yet he never missed his children’s soccer games.
He instilled lasting values: loyalty, the worth of a dollar, and pushing through discomfort to learn and grow.
He loved his Chevelles and his favourite place was the beach, surrounded by family, the tranquility of the water, and making lasting memories together.
Achille leaves behind a legacy of quiet integrity, brave choices, and fierce love. He will be deeply missed.
