Adelaida Luib

Adelaida Luib, a registered nurse who generously provided medical assistance for years, passed away at her home in Toronto, surrounded by her family in peace on May 5th, 2023. She was born on October 11th, 1958, in the Philippines. She is survived by her three beloved children; Mary Grace Kim, Lyka Joy, Lucky and their families. Adelaida will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of her many extended family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.

Throughout her life, Adelaida dedicated herself to the service of others through her career as a healthcare professional. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of many of those around her and earned her the respect and admiration of all who knew her.

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to such an exceptional person who had devoted her life to health care and nurturing others’ well-being. Adelaida’s dedication to serving others will always be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to have known and loved her.

Rest in peace Adelaida Luib – you will always remain treasured in our hearts.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St. between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St.). After the long driveway, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Friday, May 12^th, 2023, from 3-8pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 13^th at 9:30am at Blessed Trinity Parish (3220 Bayview Ave., North York) with burial to follow at Westminster Cemetery & Mausoleum.
