Angela Carmela Diamante

Angela Carmela Diamante, a cherished soul who graced the world with her presence, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family who loved her on April 1, 2025. Born on November 24, 1940, in Reggio, Calabria, Italy, Angela was the embodiment of kindness and compassion. Her devoted spirit touched every life she encountered, and her always-smiling demeanor endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Angela's life was a tapestry woven with love and dedication. She was not just a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; she was a beacon of unconditional love, inspiring everyone around her with her selflessness and generosity. Angela was adored by her grandchildren, Julian, Nicholas, Nathaniel, Christina, and Emily, each of whom felt the warmth of her embrace and the depth of her devotion. The joy she derived from her great-grandchildren, James and Nathan, painted her life with laughter and happiness until her final days.

In the circle of her surviving family, Angela is lovingly remembered by her sisters, Cilla and Concetta, along with her brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, including her children Vittorio (Gelsomina) and Caterina (Massimo). Their lives, too, are forever marked by her loving influence and the lessons of kindness she imparted.

Even as we celebrate the enduring legacy of Angela's compassionate spirit, our hearts ache for the loss of those she cherished who have departed before her. Her beloved husband, Domenico, along with her siblings Santo, Tita, and Sena, are deeply missed and survive in the memories nurtured by Angela and her family.

Angela's life will be honored during a visitation on April 6, 2025, at the Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre in Toronto, from 4 PM to 8 PM, followed by a funeral service on April 7, 2025, at 10 AM. Entombment to follow. These services will allow her family and friends to gather and celebrate the profound impact she had on their lives.
