Angelo Murarotto, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, in North York, Ontario, at the age of 90. Born on September 19, 1935, in St. Martino Di Lupari Veneto, Angelo's life journey took him from his native Italy to Canada, where he embraced a new life with open arms.
Angelo was a devoted husband to Antonia, who predeceased him, and a loving father to his daughters Nadia (Luigi), Sylvia, and Sonia (Dominic). Angelo was a devoted family man known for his unwavering support and love, putting the needs of his family above all else.
Working as a carpenter he was known for his craftsmanship and dedication. With a keen eye for detail, he built beautiful furniture and lasting relationships with those he worked alongside.
At home, Angelo found joy in winemaking, a craft that allowed him to bring together friends and family around the table. He loved tending to his vegetable garden every year and being able to provide delicious tomatoes and more to his family and neighbours. A fan of opera, he would often have music playing in the kitchen and took every opportunity to attend live shows, never tiring of the enjoyment it brought him. A lifetime soccer fan, the sport held a special place in his heart, serving as a connection to his Italian roots.
The community will gather to honor Angelo's life at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre in Toronto. Visitation will take place on March 11, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30 AM. Afterward, he will be laid to rest at Westminster Cemetery & Mausoleum at 12:00 PM.
Angelo Murarotto leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and passion. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him and will live on in the hearts of his family.
