Anna Cieri

Anna Cieri (nee: Ciammaichella), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed on March 27, 2024, in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. She was born on December 12, 1934, in Abruzzo, Italy. She is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband of 66 years, Franco and her dear parents Nicola and Antonietta. Anna leaves behind her devoted son Paolo and daughter-in-law Stefanie. Cherished grandchildren, Gregory and Michael. Loving sister to late Vittorio Ciammaichella, Gabriele Ciammaichella (late Filomena), Marisa Ciammaichella, late Guistino Ciammaichella (Clara D’Andrea), Carmela Ciarciaglini (late Americo).

A lover of nature, Anna had a green thumb and found solace in tending to her beloved roses and calla lilies. She adored Italian music and cherished life’s simple joys like cooking lasagna and gnocchi from scratch. Her baked goods were always made with love. Anna found immense happiness in spending quality time with her family and friends, alongside her cherished,  cat Bianchi. She dedicated 25 years of her life as a factory worker, where she showcased dedication and hard work. A fond memory that everyone will have is her cooking for the Local Union 504 and being adored for her exceptional cooking skills.

As we bid farewell to Anna Cieri, let us remember her infectious laughter, warm embraces, and unwavering love that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to have known her. May she rest in eternal peace surrounded by the beauty of the memories she created.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St, between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Wednesday April 3, 2024 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Trillium Chapel of Westminster on Thursday April 4 at 10:00am with entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery & Mausoleum.
