Anna Mirabella, a beloved seamstress, mother, and Nonna, left this world on April 8, 2025, at the age of 90 in Toronto, Ontario. Born on March 26, 1935, in Accadia, Foggia, Puglia, Italy, Anna carried the warmth of her roots with her throughout her life, inspiring those around her with her strong-willed nature and philosophical approach to life.
A dedicated seamstress, Anna had a unique talent for creating beautiful clothes for her family, stitching love and care into every piece. Her handiwork was more than just fabric; it embodied her love for her children and grandchildren. Anna derived joy from making things with her hands, combining her creativity and affection into everything she designed. She took immense pride in her family, often expressing her deepest joys during family gatherings, particularly when sharing her renowned homemade pizzas, an art she perfected over the years.
The most cherished aspect of Anna's life was her family. She is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Antonio. Proud mother to Marina (Daniel), Ciro (Diana), and Rosa (Terry). Additionally, she found immeasurable joy and satisfaction in being a Nonna to Daniella (Kiah), Ryan, Sabrina (Michael), Lauren, Brooke, Mason (Valerie) and Eric (Robyn). Her love for her grandchildren was profound, and she relished every moment spent with them, sharing stories, laughter, and her beloved recipes.
As we gather to remember Anna, we reflect on the many memories she created and the powerful legacy she leaves behind. Her strength and wisdom touched all who knew her. Anna's Visitation will be held on April 16, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:30 PM, both at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre, located at 5826 Bathurst St, Toronto, ON. Following the service, an Interment will take place at Westminster Cemetery & Mausoleum at 1:15 PM.
Anna Mirabella will be dearly missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends, forever cherished for her unwavering love and the beautiful memories she gifted to them.
We also want to thank Imelda for her dedicated care and service to Anna over the past five years.
