Antonietta Federico

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Antonietta Federico (nee Fiorini) on Friday, July 10, 2026, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Pietro Federico. Cherished mother of Ferdinando and his wife Ada, Maria and her husband Enzo, Teresa and her husband Riccardo. Loving and proud Nonna to Vanessa (Daniel), Talia, Erica (Lorenzo), Robert (Daniella), Michael (Mary Gayle), Cristina, Olivia (Christopher), Sara (Mark), and Joseph. Caring Bisnonna to Noah and Emilia.

Antonietta was born on January 16, 1936, in Veroli, Frosinone, Italy. Loving daughter of Emilio and Filomena Fiorini. In 1954, Antonietta bravely left Italy with her husband, Pietro, with hope for a better life for themselves and to build a beautiful family.

Antonietta dedicated her life to caring for those around her. She loved to entertain family and friends, hosting many late night dinner parties. She loved to cook in abundance, and enjoyed to dance and sing. Antonietta was most famous for her homemade Gnocchi, Ciambelle, and Patate e Cicoria.

Antonietta will forever live in the hearts of her extended family and friends.

The family wishes to express sincere gratitude for the compassionate care provided by Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital.
