Antonietta Rivera

Antonietta Rivera, a woman admired for her loving and kind nature, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026, in Toronto, Ontario. Born on March 27, 1930, in Abruzzo, Italy, Antonietta’s life was a testament to warmth, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Antonietta is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Vittorio. Loving mother to Teresa (Joe), Nonna to Christina (Corey) and David (Gabriella), and the beloved Bisnonna to Athena, Connor, James and Rocco. Each of these family members holds a special place in the enduring tapestry of her life, reflecting the love and guidance she generously shared. In addition to her immediate family, Antonietta is survived by her brother Giacomo (Rosina).

As we bid farewell to Antonietta, we hold close the enduring impact of her presence, grateful for the time shared and the love bestowed upon those fortunate enough to have known her. She will be greatly missed by her many family members & friends.

Friends and family are invited to gather in her memory at the Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre, located at 5826 Bathurst St, Toronto, ON, M2R 1Y6, Canada. Visitation will be held on May 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service commencing at 11:30 a.m. and concluding at 12:00 p.m. This time of reflection will honour Antonietta’s remarkable life and provide an opportunity for those who loved her to pay their respects.
