Antonio Grossi

God called Antonio “Totono” peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the age of 79.

Antonio will be sorrowfully missed by his loving wife Josie-Maria Giuseppa. He was a devoted father to Dorrie (Dov), Vincent (Wyn), Marc (Sabrina) and Martin (Ana). He was a treasured Nonno to his 11 grandchildren, Elena, Rachel, Jordan, Joshua, Anaelle, Sofia, Samantha, Leonardo, Antonio, Adamo and Anessa.

Antonio was a beloved brother to the late: Marietta, Giulia, Giacomo, Benedetto and Domenic and his surviving sister, Vincenza. He is re-united with his parents Francesco and Elena Grossi and his parents-in-law Vincenzo and Maria Trelle. He will be missed by sisters-in-law Jan Grossi and Marietta Trelle and by many nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Antonio was passionate about his garden, grapevines and winemaking. He was devoted to his wife and family. His resilience and strength helped him to battle 9 1/2 years of cancer. The memories we shared will forever be in our hearts.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St. between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery, it is the first building on your left. The family welcomes you to come celebrate his life and share memories with them on Thursday, October 26^th, 2023, from 2-4 & 6-8pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Trillium Chapel of Westminster on Friday, October 27^th at 10:30am with entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
