Antonio Marascio
November 21, 1933 to November 28, 2022
It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that our family announces the peaceful passing of Antonio Marascio on November 28, 2022 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of 69 years to Rosa, loving father of Frank (Connie), Marisa (Franco), and Antonietta (Gary). Proud Nonno of Diane, Angelo (Michelle), Elizabeth (Paul), Christina, Daniel, Adam and Andrew. Proud Bisnonno of Luca, Valentina, Julian, Lorenzo and Calista. He will be reunited in heaven with his parents Franco and Caterina Marascio and with his in-laws Antonio and Vittina Perri. Antonio will always be remembered by his sisters, brother, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws and will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives and friends.
Antonio was born on November 21, 1933 in San Vito Italy as the eldest sibling. As a young teenager, Antonio met the love of his life Rosa and they married on August 8, 1953.
It is a blessing to have had this incredible man in our lives. He gave us so much love and he shared with us, shaped us and taught us great lessons.
We are happier because we were lucky enough to be a part of his family. He loved life, planting his garden and his greatest joys were the love for his family and his music. He is gone in body, but not in spirit. He will forever live in our hearts.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to all of his doctors and the medical staff at Humber River Regional Hospital for all of their care and compassion.
In honour of Antonio Marascio memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society
