Dear Family and Friends,

It is with a heavy heart and a profound sense of sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Arcangela Filangi (Nee Mollicone) on October 29, 2023 at Humber River Hospital at the age of 94. Reunited in Heaven now with her parents Pasqua D’Agostini and Luigi Mollicone. Beloved wife of the late Enrico Filangi. Loving mother to the late Anna Trelle (Nazzareno). Loving sister to the late Domenico Mollicone (the late Elvira Mollicone). Loving Sister-in-law to the late Onorio (Antonietta), the late Olimpio (Assunta), the late Antonio (the late Clelia), the late Natalina (Emmanuele Romano). She is survived by her brother Angelo Mollicone (Benedetta Mollicone). Loving and caring Nonna to the late Vincenzo and Melissa (Brian Andrade). Aunt to Sergio Mollicone and Lidia Dasilva Viegas. She will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Arcangela was a remarkable woman who touched the lives of all those fortunate enough to know her. Her warm smile and kind heart were just some of the qualities that made her truly exceptional. She had a loving nature that radiated wherever she went and left an indelible mark on those who crossed her path. Her parents held a special place in Arcangela's heart. Their love and guidance shaped the woman she became. While they may have passed on before her, their spirit remained alive within her, influencing the way she loved and cared for others.

Known for her culinary talents, Arcangela had a passion for cooking and baking. She would spend countless hours in the kitchen, creating mouthwatering dishes that brought joy to everyone lucky enough to savor them. Her skills as a gardener were equally impressive. With her nurturing touch, she turned her garden into a haven of vibrant colors and fragrant blooms.

While mourning the loss of this extraordinary woman, we find solace in cherishing the memories she created with us. Her legacy will forever be etched in our hearts and minds.

During this difficult time of grief and loss, let us come together to celebrate the incredible life of Arcangela Filangi. Let us remember her for the love she shared so generously, the delicious meals she cooked with such passion, the flowers she tended to with care, and most of all - the devotion she showed to her family. Arcangela's departure leaves an irreplaceable void in our lives but let us find comfort in knowing that her memory will forever shine brightly. May she rest in eternal peace knowing that she was dearly loved and will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St. between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Thursday, November 2 from 6-9pm, and Friday, November 3 from 2-4 & 6-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at Transfiguration of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church (45 Ludstone Drive, Etobicoke) on Saturday, November 4 at 10:45am with entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery & Mausoleum.
