Born on November 22, 1938, Assunta was a woman of remarkable talent and warmth, known not only for her culinary skills but also for the love and joy she shared with everyone who crossed her path.
Assunta was predeceased by her loving husband, Antoniarello, whose memory she cherished dearly. Together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. She leaves behind her loving children: daughter Paula (Paul), son Enzo (wife Rose deceased), and daughter Rachele. She was especially proud of her grandchildren: Raffael (Vanessa), Nina (Michael), Michael (Alexia), Anthony, Christopher, Nicholas, Alexander, and Matthew, all of whom held a special place in her heart. Additionally, she is survived by her great-grandchildren: Sofia, Sabrina, and Amelia, who brought her immeasurable joy. Throughout her life, Assunta embraced a variety of passions that brought her great pleasure.
Cooking and baking were not merely hobbies for her; they were expressions of love, shared most intimately with her family during countless gatherings. Her culinary delights were known to bring smiles, and they were often accompanied by lively dances and songs that filled her home with warmth and laughter.
Assunta's artistic talents shone through in her knitting, sewing, crocheting, and her elegant gardening of flowers and vegetables. She nurtured both the earth and the hearts of her loved ones with the same diligence—cultivating beauty in gardens and forging bonds with carefully crafted gifts. The many pieces she created will continue to tell stories of love and care, cherished by all who receive them.
As we gather to celebrate the life of this incredible woman, we find solace knowing that her spirit will forever resonate within each of us. The impact she made through her kindness, creativity, and unwavering support will be a guiding light in the lives of all who knew her.
