Baby Boy Matteo Bove Lara

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear baby boy Matteo Bove Lara. Beloved son of Roger Lara and Amanda Bove. Dear brother to Carson and Isaiah. Matteo will be sadly missed and held dear to the hearts of his adoring Grandparents, loving Aunts, Uncles and family friends. 

From the very moment that family and friends became aware of Matteo’s arrival, everyone was immensely excited and eagerly awaiting. Mom and Dad decided to wait and be surprised at the time of his birth to learn of Matteo’s gender, adding extra excitement and often fun rivalry between the family and friends as everyone played the guessing game. One thing was certain, regardless of the baby's gender, he or she was going to be born surrounded by an abundance of love from all family and friends. 

Matteo decided to take his time and chose to bless us all with his arrival one week after his expected due date. At 3:43am on Sunday, November 27th, Matteo Bove Lara was born weighing 8 pounds, 1 ounce, 21 inches long at Humber River Hospital. It is with absolute shock and sadness that Matteo was not going to be here on this earth for very long as his angel’s decided he was just too beautiful for earth. Matteo spent his only day on earth with his loving Mom, Dad and close family being held and showered with so many cuddles, hugs and kisses until he took his final breath later that afternoon in his mom’s arms. 
Although his life on earth was ever so brief, a handsome child ever so small, he had the greatest power to touch the hearts of us all.

Matteo, we will love you forever, we will miss you for always, as long as we are living our precious baby you’ll be. 

A Funeral Service will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St. North York, after the long driveway it is the first building on your left) on Friday, December 2 at 10:00 a.m. Respectfully, there will not be a public visitation prior to the service to allow for private family reflection time. Cremation will follow at a later time held in private.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Sick Kids Foundation in memory of Matteo would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
