1931-2023

Benjamin Greenberg, 92, of Etobicoke, Ontario, passed away peacefully November 19^th at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a prolonged illness.  Survived by his loving wife of 69 years, his high school sweetheart Marilyn Elizabeth (nee Black), he will be sorely missed by his nieces and nephews Carolyn Peters, Karen Mock (David), Brian Greenberg (Joan Kritz), Bob Greenberg (Gordy Schellenberg), David Peters (Susan), Leslie Brouner (Barry), Wendy (Frimmie) Rodin (Harley), Sharon Keuning (Henry), John Haslip (Diane), and his many great and even great great nieces and nephews. Uncle Benny’s kind, sweet and generous nature was always a comfort to his family and friends, and his sense of humour was infectious.   Ben lived his life with honesty and integrity, with a full and friendly smile to all he met. A longtime member of St. George’s Golf Club, he loved golfing, travelling, good music, and his family and friends. His legacy will live on in their cherished memories of this sweet man. 

Funeral Service will be held at Westminster Funeral and Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St. between Finch and Steels on the west side), located on the ground of Westminster Cemetery, it is the first building on your left. The family welcomes you to celebrate his life and share memories with them on Friday November 24, 2023 at 1:30pm in the Trillium Chapel. Burial to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
