It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Beverley Leonora Walters, who entered eternal rest on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto.

Beverley was born on Thursday, January 11, 1951, at Victoria Jubilee Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica. She was raised in St. Ann by her grandmother, Leila Lambie-Walters, and her grandfather, George Walters.

In 1981, Beverley moved to Canada and settled in Toronto. She studied at George Brown College and worked in various roles in the healthcare field, including as a Personal Support Worker (Nurse’s Aide), until her retirement.

Beverley was known for her love of cooking and, most importantly, her family. She will be remembered for the love and care she gave to those around her.

She is lovingly survived by her six children: Moya, Courtney, Kenya, Steven, Lisa, and Bradley; her seven grandchildren: Michael, Shalom, Isaac, Cameron, Ethan, William, and Caleb; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and loved ones.

Beverley will be deeply missed and forever cherished by those who knew her.

May she rest in peace and rise in glory.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St, between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Friday August 21, 2026 from 10:15am until the commencement of the service at 12:00pm. Burial to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
