With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Blagoja (Robert) Markovski of Bradford, Ontario, on February 12, 2026.

Robert will be remembered for his appreciation of the outdoors and the simple pleasures of life. He found joy in nature - whether camping at his favourite spot in the Thousand Islands, casting a fishing line at dawn, or heading into the woods during hunting season. Those moments brought him peace.

Robert worked for many years as a hairdresser in Toronto, Ontario, where he earned respect for his dedication to his craft and admiration for his talent. He took great pride in his work and built lasting relationships with clients.

He was predeceased by his father Krste and his mother Vasilka. Robert is survived by his loving and devoted son Nikola; his sister Vera (Jorgo); brother Todor (Vera); his nieces and nephews; and extended family members and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Blagoja (Robert) Markovski to a charity of your choice.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St, between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Monday February 23, 2026 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Trillium Chapel of Westminster on Tuesday February 24, 2026 at 11:30am with burial to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
