It is with deep love and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Domenico Pecchia, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, who left us peacefully at the age of 89.
Born on September 1, 1936 in Campodimele, Latina, Italy, Domenico was the cherished son of Andrea and Antonia Pecchia. One of eight children, he grew up surrounded by the warm traditions, and close-knit bonds of a large Italian family—values he carried with him throughout his life.
Domenico was the devoted husband of Iva Pecchia, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, strength, and partnership. Together they built a beautiful family, and Domenico took immense pride in being the treasured father of Antonietta, Andrea (Patricia), Gloria, and Paolo (Laura).
He was also a deeply adored Nonno to Adam, Veronica, and Domenic, who will forever remember his gentle spirit, soft laughter, and the joy he brought into their lives.
Domenico found great happiness in the simple and meaningful moments of everyday life. He had a special love for planting and tending his garden—nurturing each vine, flower, and vegetable with the same care and patience he showed to everyone around him. Whether sharing stories, offering a helping hand, or greeting others with his ever-present smile, Domenico's kindness touched all who knew him.
He will be remembered as a gentle, humble, and good-hearted man—someone who brought light into every room and comfort to every heart.
Domenico’s legacy of love, generosity, and quiet strength will live on through his family, his community, and all the lives he brightened.
May he rest in eternal peace.
