Elvira Di Pasquale (née Rosati)
January 9, 1938 - September 15, 2026
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Elvira at the age of 88. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side.
Beloved wife of the late Antonio Di Pasquale (2002). Cherished mother of Danny (Franca), John and Silvana (late). Loving Nonna to Anthony (Romina), Peter and Andrea (Luca). Devoted Bisnonna to Matteo, Gia, Ariana and Lucio.
Elvira was the loving sister of the late Concetta (late Carlo), late Angiolina (late Giovanni), Domenica (late Emidio), Assunta (Giovanni), Luca (late Assunta), Donato (Maria) and late Rita (late Carmine). Predeceased by her parents, Giuseppe and Marietta Rosati. Elvira will be missed and fondly remembered by her many in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Elvira was always there with a kind word, a warm hug, a listening ear and a helping hand. She was warm, welcoming and filled with unconditional love. Her home was full of love and opened to all. She warmly welcomed anyone who visited by offering them espresso and her famous pizzelle and cookies. Her presence brought comfort and joy to so many lives.
Elvira was the heart of our family. She taught us the importance of family, friendship, togetherness, kindness and love. Her kitchen was always filled with delicious meals she so lovingly prepared. Her kitchen table was the heart of every family gathering and the foundation for so many memories; where countless meals, stories, laughter and cherished memories were shared. She enjoyed spending time in her amazing vegetable garden and looking after her growing plants.
Elvira’s love for her family and friends will live on in all of us. Although our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the love, strength and memories she gave us. She will remain in our hearts forever.
“Mom, you will be missed so much. It is time for you to rest now.”
