It is with broken hearts that we share the sudden passing of Eraldo on November 14. Born in Toronto and raised, lived, and passed away in Richmond Hill, Eraldo’s roots were firmly planted in the community he loved.
Eraldo will be immensely missed by his mother, Domenica, as he is reunited with his Babbo, Giovanni, in eternity. Eraldo’s spirit will live forever in the hearts, minds, and souls of his three sisters, Mariacristina (Robert), Daniela (Mauro), and Lina (Robert). His nieces and nephews—Selina, Laura, Morena, Anthony, Stefania, Tristan, Elizabeth, and Vivian—will cherish the laughter and happy memories they made with him. Eraldo’s fiancée, Nicole, and children, Dane and Nya, shared a special bond with him and will carry his love and presence in their hearts forever.
Eraldo had a huge heart, evident to all who met him. His big smile, contagious laugh, and ability to make everyone feel welcome were hallmarks of his generous and joyful spirit. It was easy to get excited and energized by his enthusiasm, thirst for knowledge, and his passion for the people and experiences he loved. His sense of humour and playful nature brought joy to all who knew him, making every moment brighter.
Eraldo will be forever missed by his many friends and family, whose lives he enriched with his warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.
Like he always said… “I gotta go. Love you guys.”
This is not goodbye.
