Ermelinda Soares

Ermelinda Soares, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2023, at Baycrest Hospice.  Ermelinda was born on April 30, 1942, in Portugal. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Ermelinda's vibrant spirit touched the lives of countless individuals throughout her journey. She had an uncanny ability to make those around her feel cherished and loved. Her infectious laughter and warm smile brightened even the darkest of days. Ermelinda's nurturing nature earned her immense respect and admiration from all who knew her.
In addition to being a devoted wife to Eugenio, she was an adoring mother to Ermelinda and a doting grandmother to Matthew and Emily. Ermelinda found immense joy in the presence of her grandchildren. Their laughter and hugs were the fuel that energized her soul.
Ermelinda had a few hobbies and interests that brought her genuine happiness. She enjoyed watching Tik Tok videos, which often left her chuckling with delight. Additionally, she took pleasure in indulging in Portuguese Romance shows, which transported her to a world of captivating storytelling and emotional connections. Cooking was another passion close to Ermelinda's heart. Her kitchen was always filled with tantalizing aromas, and she took great pride in preparing delicious meals for her loved ones.
Ermelinda's legacy will forever endure in the hearts and minds of those she touched. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love will continue to inspire all who were privileged to know her.
