Ettore Rossiello

Ettore Rossiello, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on July 1, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on April 24, 1943, Ettore was a man who brought light and laughter into the lives of everyone he encountered. He was known for his warm heart and jovial spirit, always ready with a quick joke and a smile that could brighten even the darkest of days.

Ettore's life was rich with cherished moments that echoed the harmony of his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Caterina, who was his partner in life and love. Together, they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and an unbreakable bond that others admired. Ettore was proud of his children, Anna Maria (Carmine), Roberto, and Marcello; he relished every moment spent with them, imparting wisdom and humor, and filling their lives with joyful memories.

Loving Nonno to Santino, Massimo, Gabriel, Kristen & Nicholas, often spending time sharing stories and exploring the great outdoors. Ettore's interests included hunting and gardening, pursuits which he enjoyed not just for the activities themselves, but for the opportunities they provided to spend quality time with family and friends. Socializing came naturally to him; whether at a gathering or a simple neighborhood chat, he loved music and dancing, his engaging personality made every encounter memorable.

He will dearly missed by his siblings, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Friends and family will gather to honour Ettore's life during a visitation at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre in Toronto on July 6, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on July 7, 2025, at 9:30 AM, also at the Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre. Following the service, he will be entombed at Westminster Cemetery & Mausoleum at 10:15 AM, where loved ones can pay their final respects.

Ettore Rossiello had a great life and may he rest in peace.
