Filippo D'Acunto

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Filippo D'Acunto on Nov 8th, 2024. Filippo was born on Oct 17th, 1929 in the small town of Scauri Minturno, in the province of Latina Italy. He immigrated to Canada where he worked as a superintendent and quickly became a staple in his community of little Italy. He spoke several languages and he was most popular for his many works of art which will now become precious treasures.   Filippo leaves behind his daughter Nancy and his 6 grandchildren Maria (Philip), Joseph (Michelle), Philip (Jessica), Lisa (Daniel), his 8 great-grandchildren, John, Salina, Sebastian, Gabriella, Laura, Rosa, Claudia, Gia and his great-great grandson Alex.  He was pre-deceased by his wife Sylvia and his son John and daughter-in-law Cathy.   He had a unique sense of humor that will be deeply missed by all those who knew him and loved him.
