Francesco De Simone

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Francesco De Simone, who left us peacefully on August 24, 2025, at the age of 100. Born on March 20, 1925, Francesco lived a long life filled with love, hard work, and devotion to his family.

Francesco is now reunited with his beloved wife Anna, who predeceased him. He leaves behind a proud legacy through his daughters Ida (Joe) and Rosaria (Mario - Predeceased), and his adored grandchildren: Salvatore (Anna Maria), Adamo (Susan), and Anna (Carlo). His joy was multiplied in his later years by his great-grandchildren: Mario, Sarah (Ledio), Amanda, Emma, Serena and Dylan who brought light and laughter to his days.

If so desired donations can be made in memory of Francesco to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St, between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Wednesday August 27, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Trillium Chapel of Westminster on Thursday August 28, 2025 at 11:30 am. Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
