Francesco Sacco, a beloved husband, father, Nonno, and brother, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on October 25, 1936, in Mangone, Cosenza, Italy, to Antonio and Angelina, Francesco's journey began in a small village, surrounded by the beauty of nature, which would later inspire his lifelong passions for vegetable gardening and making wine.
Francesco was known for his loving, kind, and social personality. He had a contagious zest for life and shared many joyful moments with his family and friends. He relished his marathon walks with his walker, embodying both resilience and hope. A lover of simple pleasures, Francesco found happiness in things like indulging in ice cream, watching soccer and hockey games, and enjoying the hilarious moments on Family Feud.
He cherished the bonds of family, having been married to his devoted & loving wife, Giuseppina, for 56 wonderful years. Loving father to Anthony (Susie), Giovanni (Milena), and Adriano (Melissa). Francesco took great pride in his family and was a doting Nonno to Francesco, Mario, Tazia, Josie (Derek), Katie, Alessandro, and Aria, who brought immense joy and laughter into his life.
Francesco is survived by his siblings Lucia, Aldo, and Rita. He was pre-deceased by his other siblings and in-laws.
He will be fondly remembered by his family, nieces, nephews and many friends.
