Gaetana Tesone

With deep sorrow and a profound feeling of grief, we heartbreakingly announce the untimely and tragic passing of Gaetana Tesone (formerly Virginillo), a cherished wife, mother, nonna, bis-nonna , cognata, zia, cugina and dear friend. She departed from this world on July 7, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving behind a heavy sense of loss. Gaetana was born on January 1, 1949, in Civitanova Del Sannio.

She was a woman whose love was unconditional and she was adored by everyone around her. Her beautiful smile and warm personality will forever remain in our memories. Whenever she walked into a room, her infectious smile and warm personality illuminated it. She has provided us with a stunning life example, and we will always hold the cherished memories close to our hearts. The loss of her presence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Gaetana leaves behind her adored husband, Antonio. Loving mother to Gerry (Natasha), Rosemary (Enzo), Liliana (Frankie) and Sandra (Luca).  Proud nonna to Graziella (Simone), Sylvia (Adam), Maya, Arika and Ava and elated bis-nonna to Genevra and Vittorio.

Gaetana’s family wishes to celebrate her life with you. Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St. between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St.). After the long driveway, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Monday, July 17^th, 2023, from 5-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Trillium Chapel of Westminster at 11:30am on Tuesday, July 18^th with entombment to follow.
