Gemma Delle Monache

It is with deep sadness, yet with gratitude for a beautiful life well-lived, that we announce the peaceful passing of Gemma Delle Monache at the age of 85 on June 7, 2026. Beloved wife to Luciano Delle Monache. Devoted mother of Ornella (Mike) Cornacchia and Rocco (Josie) Delle Monache. Loving Nonna to her grandchildren, Adrianna, Sergio, Steven, Danielle, and Alanna. Adored Bisnonna to her great-grandchildren, Lorenzo, Lukasz, Gaetano, Isabella, Luciano, Savannah, Santino, Andrea, Simona, and Ilaria. Predeceased by her cherished parents, Iolanda and Alfonso Capacchione. Dearest sister to Fred (Rose) Capacchione and Mary (Adam) Ciulini.  Gemma was incredibly devoted to her family, always putting her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren above all else. They were the absolute center of her world, bringing an instant smile to her face, just as her warmth did to theirs. 

A woman of boundless warmth and generosity, she led by example, instilling in her family a profound respect for hard work and close-knit values. Her home was always filled with life. She found endless joy in cooking, tending to her garden, entertaining, playing cards and sharing stories. Everyone in the family turned to Gemma for her weather predictions, which were widely known to be far more reliable than the local news. With an infectious smile that could light up any room, she was always up for a good party. For Gemma, any occasion was the perfect excuse to bring the family together for laughter, connection, and full plates. Her true joy came from the strong roots she established, happily watching the beautiful branches of her family tree grow. Her family will forever be her greatest legacy and pride. Gemma’s family extends their gratitude to all our aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends for all their love, support, joy and memories you brought to her life.
