It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Gina Perri, who left us on October 21, 2024, at the age of 80. Born on June 27, 1944, Gina was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her. Her warmth kindness shaped the foundations of her family, nurturing them through every challenge and celebrating their joys.
Gina was the cherished wife of the late Mario Perri, with whom she shared a loving partnership that spanned 62 wonderful years. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, love, and the delicious aromas of Gina's renowned cooking and baking. Family gatherings were always special events, where Gina's culinary talents shone bright and brought her loved ones together.
Gina was the proud mother of five: Rosie, Jimmy (Connie), Mirella, Michael (Doriana), and Paula (Mike). Her love extended deeply into her family, creating bonds that will last forever. As a grandmother, her heart expanded even further; she adored her grandchildren John Anthony (Nicole), Nicole (Marc), Erica, Mario (Daniela), Victoria (Pat), Matthew (Heather), Kenia, Valerie, Luca, Frankie, and Michael. Every moment spent with them filled her with joy, as she reveled in their accomplishments and shared endless stories, laughter, and wisdom.
Gina was also blessed to be a great-grandmother, embraced by the smiles of Rylan, Avaya, Briella, Hannah, Lily, Leia, Lora, Adriano, Julian, and Luca. Her legacy of love and commitment to family will continue to shine through them, as they carry forward the values, she instilled in all of us.
Born into a family that valued connections, she is survived by her siblings Michael (late Yolanda) and Luigi (Maria), as well as her brother and sister-in-laws Francesco (Carmela) and the late Giovanni (Rosaria). Gina’s parents, the late Alberto and Maria, provided her with the values that she passed on to her children, ensuring that love remained at the heart of their family.
Gina Perri was a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother and great-grandmother, and a cherished friend. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege to know her.
