It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Giovanna Tullio (née Cecchini) with her loving children at her side on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the age of 87.
Beloved wife of the late Paolo Tullio. Cherished mother of Peter (Louisa), Giulio (Linda), Laura (Gino), Frank (Tiziana), and Diana (Philippe). Loving and proud Nonna to Sarah (Sandro), Lianna, Mark (Stephanie), Felicia (Joseph), Franco, Luca, Tomas, Julia, Alexandre and Olivia. Caring Bisnonna to Valerie.
Giovanna was born on October 12, 1938, in Pero dei Santi, L’Aquilia, Abruzzo, Italy. Loving daughter of Italia Cerroni and Stefano Cecchini.
Giovanna's memory will forever be a blessing. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in our hearts of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks donations to be made in Giovanna’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Canadian Blood Services.
