Giovanni Macchiaroli

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Giovanni Macchiaroli aged 83, on April 12, 2024. He was born in Bellosguardo, Salerno Italy on February 4, 1941 and is predeceased by his parents Annibale and Luisa.
 Together with his loving wife of 58 years Elvira, they immigrated to Canada in 1966 to start a new life. They had three children, Annibale (Maria), Lisa (Marcello), and Sara (Alfred), and is the proud nonno to Julian, Gioia, Mario, Gian Luca, and Mila.
 Giovanni will be dearly missed by his siblings Amalia (Giuseppe), Maria (late Lorenzo), late Matteo, (Elizabeth), cousin Antonio who became a brother to his family, and brother-in-law to Luigi (Silvana), late Antonietta (Pasquale).
 He will forever remain in our hearts and will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and his loving neighbours (Angelo and Mimma).
 Giovanni was always at his best around family and friends. He was a devoted Catholic and very passionate about food, singing, and enjoyed his time amongst loved ones.
 
 May he rest in eternal peace.
