Giovannina Santaguida

Giovanna Santaguida, with an abundance of love to share, passed away peacefully on November 2nd, 2025, at the age of 83 surrounded by her family. Born on September 27, 1942, in Serra San Bruno, Calabria, Italy, Giovanna was a loving wife, mother, and adoring Nonna. Giovanna’s heart was large enough to embrace generations of family and friends, welcoming everyone who entered her home with love and warmth, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Giovanna’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her beloved family: her devoted husband of 60 years, Vittorio; her three daughters, and six grandchildren, each sharing a unique bond with her. Her absence will be deeply felt, but the memories they gathered with her will shine as brightly as the love she radiated.

As we gather to honour the life of Giovanna Santaguida, we carry forward her legacy of love and resilience, always cherishing the moments we were so lucky to share with her. She leaves behind not only a family, but a way of being – rooted in love and sustained by faith.  She will be deeply missed, yet forever remembered in every story told, every meal she made, and every heart she touched.
