Giuseppe Greco

Giuseppe Greco, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather , graced the world with his presence from November 13, 1951, until August 27, 2025.

Joe, affectionately known as Dad, Grandpa and Big Papa.

Born in Mailto Italy and arriving in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1957 and settling in Ontario.

He will be missed by his beloved wife of 53 years, Barbara. As well as their 4 children Vincent, Robert, Frank and Irene (Donald).

He was a man who wasn’t afraid to speak his mind, Giuseppe loved nothing more than sharing a great story—or a great sandwich—with anyone he called a friend, of which there were many.

You could often find him out on the lake testing his favourite lures, in the woods during hunting season with a proud grin and steady hand, or in front of the TV, waiting in anticipation for WWE to begin. He spent years working in the mines of Elliot Lake, before heading back to southern Ontario.

Giuseppe will be remembered for his honesty, his laughter, and the countless moments he shared with those lucky enough to know him.
