Ida Rocco

Ida Rocco passed away peacefully on May 3, 2023 after a long battle with metastatic breast cancer. She passed away at the Hospice Vaughan, surrounded by her loving family.  Ida will be forever missed by her loving husband of 62 years, Mario.  Cherished by her dear daughters Dina (Phil), Franca (Domenic) and Nada(Peter). Proud Nonna to Andreas, Mario, Michael, Daniela, Alessia, Paolo and Domenic.  Ida will always be remembered by her siblings Gaetano(Tina), Maria(Mario), Francesco(Anna), and is reunited in Heaven with her parents Luigina and Domenico, brother Aldo, and  her sister Luisa (survived by her husband Giuseppe).  She will forever be remembered for her selfless devotion to her family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ida may be made to Hospice Vaughan.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St. between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St.). After the long driveway, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Sunday, May 7^th, 2023, from 4:00pm - 9:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held within the Chapel of Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre, on Monday, May 8th at 10:00am, the entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery & Mausoleum.
