Irda Orsi

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Irda Orsi on January 7th 2024.  

Irda was born September 8th, 1930 in Italy, in Guasto in the Province of Isernia.

She was the beloved wife of Mario for over 70 years and the loving mother of Rosa, Eric and Connie and in-laws Frank, Cathy and Morris. She was a loving and caring Nonna to Melissa, Tania, Robert, Patrick and Olivia and great grandmother to Ryan, Mikayla and Ruby.  

She will be greatly missed by her many neighbors, family and friends.  We are left with the memory of a strong, dedicated, and hardworking woman with a passion and love for her flowers and garden. May she continue this passion and love of gardening in heaven for eternity.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St. between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery; it is the first building on your left. The family welcomes you to celebrate her life and share memories with them on Wednesday January 10, from 2-4pm & 6-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday January 11 at 10:00am. Once the Funeral Service has concluded the immediate family will make their way to complete a private entombment.
