Jim (Gennaro) Pedano suddenly passed away at home April 2, 2026, at the age of 68 leaving behind a legacy of strength, independence, humour and deep devotion to his family.
He was the love of Charlotte’s life for 17 years and a proud father to Jodie, Jeffrey (Cristina), Colby (stepson) and predeceased by son Jerry. He adored his grandchildren Samantha, Johnny, Shane, Anthony and Alexandria and his little buddy Shiloh, his beagle. Jim is survived by his brother Vito (Manuela), nieces Victoria and Elizabeth, and shared a special bond with his cousin Josie who was much more like a sister and her family.
Jim will be missed by his many friends. He was known for living life on his own terms. He wasn’t shy and he spoke his mind, stood his ground, and embraced life fully and unapologetically. Those who knew him will remember his strong personality, his presence, and the way he made an impression wherever he went. Jim was always willing to help anyone that needed help if he was able to.
He was also a dedicated and hard-working businessman, owning both a glass company and an auto mechanic shop, where he built a life through determination and effort.
Jim was the happiest when Charlotte and his forever home was built and was able to live their life together and enjoy the many friends that came in and out their door. Above all, Jim’s pride was his family. His love for them was unwavering, and that love will continue to be felt in the lives he has touched. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
If so desired donations can be made in memory of Jim to the Lung Association
