Juan Argueta departed this earthly life on the evening of October 9th, 2026.
Born in El Salvador to Juan Alberto Argueta and Maria Cruz Palacios, Juan was always proud to be one of ten siblings. Before making Canada his home, he spent a memorable chapter of his life living in Costa Rica.
All those who met Juan could see what an attentive, present, and friendly man he was; a man who moved through life with honour, embracing both its joys and its challenges.
Once a young man with a talent for sports, specifically soccer, he played all through his youth. When he arrived in Canada, he joined a Toronto based Spanish Soccer League, where he quickly built a reputation as an exceptional player. Over the years, he won numerous trophies and was proudly honored with Player of the Year awards. His love for the game came full circle as a father, spending many years volunteering as a dedicated coach for his son’s soccer teams.
In 1989, Juan married the love of his life, Rosibel. Together, they built a beautiful life and a family he completely lived for. He absolutely cherished Rosibel and lived for his three beloved children, Alejandra (Allie), Antonio, and Sofia. He took great joy in spoiling his family, but never without a humble hand, always putting their happiness above everything else.
Professionally, Juan was a dedicated worker who spent decades in the pharmaceutical field. Beyond his hard work, he will be remembered by family, friends and colleagues as a warm, friendly soul who could light up any room.
Juan had a unique gift for making people laugh, famously breaking into spontaneous dances and unforgettable air guitar impersonations that brought joy to everyone around him.
Juan will be missed more than words can ever express, by his beloved wife and children, his extended family, and his many dear friends. His bright spirit and the laughter he shared will live on in our hearts forever.
¡Descansa en Paz, amado Juan!
