Luigia Frattaroli

With heavy hearts, the family announces the peaceful passing of Luigia Frattaroli on May 25, 2026, at the age of 82.

Luigia is reunited with her beloved husband, the late Costanzo Frattaroli. She is also reunited in Heaven with her loving parents, Vincenzo and Maria, and her dear siblings, Anna, Antonio, Maria, Felcietta, and Tomasso.

She leaves behind her loving son Mike and daughter-in-law Enza, her cherished grandchildren Sara (Fabio) and Nicolas, and her precious great-granddaughter GiaMaria, who brought her immense pride and happiness.

Luigia was the heart of her family — a devoted homemaker whose greatest joy came from caring for those she loved. Her kitchen was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the unforgettable aromas of homemade pizza, lasagna, and freshly baked cookies. Sharing meals was her way of bringing family together, and everyone who sat at her table felt welcomed and cared for.

Beyond her love of cooking, Luigia enjoyed simple pleasures that reflected her generous and nurturing spirit. She loved tending to her vegetable and flower gardens, proudly watching them grow season after season. She also enjoyed playing bingo and spending meaningful time with family, especially during holidays and gatherings.

Luigia’s life was defined by love, dedication, and quiet strength. Her family was always her priority, and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever treasured

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Canadian Cancer in memory of Luigia.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St, between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Friday May 29, 2026 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Roch's Church (2889 Islington Ave., North York, ON M9L 2J1) on Saturday May 30, 2026 at 10:00am with entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
