With profound love and cherished memories, the family announces the peaceful passing of Maria on June 19, 2026, at the age of 91.

Born on September 24, 1934, Maria lived a life defined by love, devotion to family, and an appreciation for life's simple blessings. Her gentle heart, kind spirit, and unwavering care for others touched the lives of all who knew her.

Maria was the beloved wife of the late Domenico, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and companionship. She was the cherished daughter of the late Gaspare and Francesca and a devoted sister to Sandrino. She was predeceased by her dear siblings Salvatore, Giovanni, Evelina, Antonio, Gabriella, Luigina, Francesco, Elia, Mario, Aldo, Pinuzzo, and Luigi.

Maria cherished her many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart. In her later years, she was cared for by her loving niece and family, where she enjoyed the laughter, love, and companionship of several generations under one roof. Family was the centre of Maria's life, and she treasured every moment spent with those she loved.

Maria found happiness in tending her vegetable and flower gardens. Whether caring for her tomatoes, nurturing her flowers, or spending time outdoors, she found peace and fulfillment in watching things grow. Her gardens reflected the qualities she carried throughout her life—patience, dedication, beauty, and quiet strength.

Maria will be remembered for her warm smile, generous heart, gentle wisdom, and the unconditional love she shared so freely. She had a remarkable way of making those around her feel welcome, cared for, and loved. Her kindness, strength, and devotion to family will remain an enduring part of her legacy.

Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those whose lives she touched. Her love will continue to bloom in the memories she leaves behind.

If so desired donations can be made in memory of Maria to the Lung Association.
