With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Lucia Cioffi, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and wife who left us on January 25, 2026. Born on December 13, 1955, Maria touched the lives of everyone she met with her selfless, kind-hearted, and loving nature. She approached life with a warmth that made everyone feel welcomed, loved, and cherished.

Maria is survived by her beloved husband Marzano, with whom she shared a beautiful 49 years of marriage filled with love and companionship. Her loving mother, Leonda, cherishing the memories they created together. Though her father, Attilio, has passed, his spirit undoubtedly lives on in the values he instilled in Maria.

Maria was a devoted mother to Frank (Alessandra), Sandro (Suzie), and Daniel. As they grew, Maria nurtured them with her love, instilling in them the values of compassion and generosity. Her devotion to her family was unwavering, and she always put their needs and happiness above her own.

Grandchildren Christopher and Olivia looked up to her with adoring eyes, enchanted by her stories and filled with joy from the treats she lovingly baked. Baking was not just a hobby for Maria; it was an expression of her love. She delighted in creating delicious meals and sweet desserts, often seen in the kitchen with an apron tied around her waist, a smile on her face, as she prepared to share her culinary creations with family and friends.

Maria will be fondly remembered as a remarkable woman whose selflessness knew no bounds. She radiated kindness, always lending a helping hand or offering a listening ear. Her legacy lives on not only through her immediate family but also through the countless lives she touched with her generous spirit.

Though she may no longer walk among us, Maria’s legacy of selflessness, kindness, and love will forever remain etched in our hearts.

We do want to share one important request. Maria had very clear wishes that no flowers be sent in sympathy. We understand this may feel unusual to some, but honoring her wishes is very important to us, and we ask for your understanding and support in respecting them.
