Maria Civitarese (nee Puglia)

With sorrowful hearts we announce the passing of Maria at the age of 93, surrounded by her family, on Friday, April 24, 2026.  Beloved wife of the late Cecchino Civitarese (2014).  Loving mother of Livio (Frances), Danny (Teresa) and Ezio.  Much loved and adored grandmother of Michael (Katie), Sara (Richard), Daniel (Ana), Robert and Nicole.  Cherished and Beloved great-grandmother of Alessio and Evalina.  Predeceased by her parents Giovanni and Giovina Puglia, and in-laws Silvino and Livietta Civitarese, Francesca Civitarese, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family in Canada, Italy and New Zealand.

Maria will be remembered by enduring strength, quiet determination and pride in her roots will always live on in all who knew and loved her.  She will be deeply missed!
