Maria Del Duca

Maria Del Duca, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on May 23, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on September 23, 1957, Maria’s life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, laughter, and countless cherished moments.

Maria shared a profound and lasting love with her husband, Antonio, with whom she celebrated 46 joyful years of marriage. Together, they built a home filled with warmth and love, where Maria's talents shined brightly, particularly in her passion for baking. She found immense joy in creating delectable cookies and creamy cheesecakes, delights that brought smiles to her family and friends alike.

As a mother, Maria was utterly devoted to her children, Daniel (Vanessa) and Paola (Daniele). To them, she was not just a parent but a guiding light, imparting wisdom, encouragement, and unconditional love. Her legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren, Gabriel, Ella, Lunden, and Baylen, who will forever hold her memory dear, remembering the warmth of her hugs, her joyous laughter, and the sweet treats she lovingly prepared for them.

Maria was also a cherished sister, remembered fondly by those she leaves behind, including her parents, Vincenza and the late Nazzareno, as well as her siblings, the late Enna (Mike) and Ornella (Pat). The bonds of family were incredibly important to Maria, and her spirit will be celebrated and remembered by many treasured nieces and nephews who carry her love in their hearts.

Maria Del Duca's radiant spirit and loving nature have left an indelible mark on all who knew her. While she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, kindness, and culinary delights will continue to inspire her family for generations to come.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Center (5826 Bathurst St, between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Tuesday May 27, 2025 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Trillium Chapel of Westminster on Wednesday May 28, 2025 at 10:00am with entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
