Maria Lumia

A beautiful life of 92 years, born on May 25, 1932. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Maria Lumia on March 21, 2025. Awaiting her in Heaven are her beloved husband, Giuseppe, and her cherished daughter, Carmela. She is reunited with her parents, Nino and Carmela, her brother Nino, son-in-law Giuseppe Antonio, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, and friends.

A strong and feisty woman, Maria will be forever remembered by her loving children, Rosa and Pat, her sister Palma, and her sisters-in-law Giuseppa, Giuseppina, and Liboria. She was loved by her grandchildren, Lilla (Steve) and Enzo, and was a proud Bisnonna to Alessia, Michela, and Julia.

Maria will be missed by her loving family and friends, and we will forever cherish her memory.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Maria's memory to Canadian Cancer and Alzheimer's Society

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Center (5826 Bathurst St. between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Friday March 28, 2025 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm & 6:00pm to 8:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Trillium Chapel of Westminster on Saturday March 29, 2025 at 10:00am with entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
