Obituary

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Marino Di Sabatino.

Marino was the devoted husband of Lola and a proud father to Martina and his late daughter, Oriana. His family and his dog Benny, were his whole world. He was happiest when he was with them, and his love for them was constant and clear.

He spent many years in the trucking business, working hard and taking pride in what he did. Outside of work, Marino made the most of life’s simple pleasures. He loved his Mustang, great food, rock music, and spending time with his family, both in Toronto and in Italy. In recent years, he found a real passion for cycling and took every chance he could to get out for a ride. He enjoyed the simple things in life.

Marino had a personality you couldn’t miss. He could talk to anyone, anywhere, about anything, and leave you laughing by the end of it. He didn’t take life too seriously and had a way of making everything feel lighter and easier. Being around him felt comfortable, like you’d known him forever.

He will be remembered for his humour, his stories, his laugh, and the way he brought people together so effortlessly. Life with Marino was never quiet, never boring, and always full of moments worth remembering.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

If so desired donations can be made in memory of Marino to the Canadian Cancer Society, Sick Kids Foundation and Ronald McDonald House
