Mauro Ottaviano

It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss we announce the peaceful passing of Mauro on February 1, 2023, at home, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 83. Beloved husband of 58 years to Maria. Loving father of Natalina (Neil a.k.a Barney) and Gina (Dustin). Proud Nonno of Brittany and Alexander and cherished bisnonno of Xander. Mauro will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of his many extended family and friends. Mauro had a positive outlook and always had a smile on his face. He devoted his life to his two great loves – his family and his garden. He will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St. between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St.). After the long driveway, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, from 4-8 pm. The Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Westminster on Wednesday, February 8 at 10:00 a.m. with entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery & Mausoleum.
