Mihkel was born in Voru Province, Estonia, on November 12, 1937.
He passed away at Sunnybrook Hospital on December 1, 2023, after a six-month cancer battle. His family immigrated to Canada in the last 1940s. Mihkel worked with his father for many years in the house painting business. He is per-deceased by his parents, Eduard and Linda, and his sister Mary-Ann Miller. He is survived by his cousins, Naima MacDonald (Joe), Ruth Hasell (Gary), Rick Nigol (Lily), and his brother-in-law David Henderson (Lea). Mihkel left this life as he lived it, without complaint, and with quiet dignity.
