On February 19, 2026, Nicola Di Lallo passed away at the age of 94, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished family traditions.
For more than 65 years, Nicola shared a devoted marriage with his beloved wife, Giulia. Together they created a home rooted in love, faith, and family. Their partnership was one of strength, commitment, and deep affection — a true example of enduring love.
Nicola was a proud and dedicated father to Anthony and to his late daughter Filomena (Ernest Della Penna). His greatest joy was his family, and he took immense pride in being Nonno to Robert and Daniel Della Penna. Nothing made him happier than being surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
A simple and humble man, Nicola believed that life’s greatest blessings were found at home. He was happiest in his vegetable garden, tending to his plants with care and patience. He carried on treasured traditions, lovingly preparing homemade tomato sauce, sausages, and wine — rituals that brought family together year after year. These moments were not just tasks, but celebrations of heritage, culture, and connection.
Nicola had a happy-go-lucky personality and a wonderful sense of humour. He loved to joke and laugh with family and friends, filling every gathering with warmth and joy. His generous spirit and big heart were felt by all who knew him. He also had a special place in his heart for his beloved dog Lily and was well known for his famous canary.
Above all, Nicola was a loving and devoted family man. His legacy lives on in the traditions he passed down, the memories he created, and the love he gave so freely.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
