Nilda Teruel Tura

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nilda Teruel Tura, who peacefully entered eternal rest on July 5, 2026, at the age of 86.

Nilda was the beloved wife of the late Nestor Tura Sr., with whom she shared a lifetime of love and devotion. Together they built a home rooted in faith, family, and unwavering support for one another.

She was a devoted and loving mother to Nestor Jr. daughter in law Ferline and a proud grandmother to Mikaela and Alya. Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her family and creating lasting memories with those she loved most.

Nilda expressed her love through simple acts of care and generosity. She enjoyed preparing delicious home-cooked meals, often bringing family together around the table. She found comfort in watching her favorite television programs and took great pride in nurturing her flower garden, where her patience and gentle touch allowed beauty to flourish.

These quiet passions reflected the warmth, kindness, and grace that defined her life.

Those who knew Nilda will remember her gentle spirit, caring heart, and quiet strength. She always placed the needs of others before her own and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose love will continue to inspire her family for generations to come.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St. between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St). After the long driveway, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Friday July 10, 2026 from 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. with an evening service taking place from 6:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. The Funeral Service will be in the Trillium Chapel of Westminster on Saturday July 11, 2026 from 10:00a.m. to 11:30a.m. with burial to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
