Omar Quindiagan

Omar Quindiagan, born on September 24, 1946, departed from this world on September 13, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of strength and unwavering determination that will forever remain in the hearts of his loved ones.

Omar was a man whose strong and determined personality was a guiding light for all who knew him. His relentless "never give up" attitude created a sanctuary of safety and happiness for his family. Flora, his devoted wife, and their children, Jerry Ridge and Floradayle, cherished every moment spent with him. He had an extraordinary ability to inspire those around him, always encouraging them to reach for their dreams and higher potentials while reminding them that they too are very strong and are never alone in their journey.

Throughout his life, Omar found joy in various hobbies and interests. Music and singing were always close to his heart, providing him with an avenue to express his emotions and connect with others. He enjoyed the freedom of driving, often using it as a means to explore and discover new places, and later on, as a means of showing love to others by driving them wherever they needed to be. Basketball and fishing also held a special place in his life; the thrill of the game and the serenity found in nature brought him immense happiness.

Omar’s days were filled with love for his family, laughter, and the little things that made life so precious. His remarkable spirit and zest for life will be missed deeply by those privileged to know him.

As we remember Omar, let us carry forth the values he instilled in us: strength, resilience, and an unyielding spirit. May his memory continue to inspire and guide us, always reminding us of the warmth and love that he brought into our lives.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Omar to Adra Canada.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St, between Finch and Steeles on the west side), it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Tuesday September 23, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Trillium Chapel of Westminster on Wednesday September 24, 2025 at 11:30 am.
