It is with heavy heart and deepest gratitude for her life that we sadly announce the passing of our beloved mother, Pasqualina De Ciantis nee Gabriele. She battled years of advanced dementia and passed peacefully on June 12th, 2026, at the age of 84.
She married the late Antonio De Ciantis in Sora, Frosinone, Italy, and immigrated to Toronto, Canada, in 1962 with her husband to ensure a better future for their family. In Canada, she had three sons, completing the family she loved so deeply.
She will be remembered and highly regarded as a strong, very hardworking, accomplished, and devoted woman who always ensured she put her family first. She had a spitfire personality that lit up the room always. Nothing brought her more joy than to make people laugh uncontrollably with her raw sense of humour. She loved and stood by her sons and would go to the end of the earth for them. She treasured her grandchild and great-grandchildren, whom she loved immensely.
She will be forever missed by her dear children, Pino (Odette) and Marco (Gabriella).
Proud Nonna to Jeanette (Jerry), and adored Bis Nonna to her great-grandchildren Mikaylah, Donté, and Jerrell, all of whom will miss her dearly.
Pasqualina is reunited and embraced in heaven with her beloved husband Antonio and son Roberto, along with her late parents and brothers. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family: two sisters, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Westminster Funeral and Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St., North York) on June 20, 2026 commencing at 11:30am - 12:30pm and the Funeral service to follow at 1:00pm.
Forever loved, always remembered, and deeply missed
