It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter Brian Lamb, who peacefully left us on March 5, 2025, just days after celebrating his 74th birthday. He passed at St. Joseph’s Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones.
Peter was born on February 28, 1951, in England and moved to Canada with his family in 1952, residing in Weston, Ontario. He was the first born son of Brian Lamb and Rosemary Hagen, both of whom predeceased him. Peter had a strong artistic spirit and loved music and painting. He had a quick wit, a good sense of humour, and a smile that could light up a room. Peter had an enduring faith in Jesus, a faith that carried him through even the most difficult of times. Peter loved his family deeply and his late wife, Doreen (Doe). He was also so thankful for the love and care of his church family and the many support workers who helped him over the years. Though his life was not without its struggles, he defied the odds, living a full 74 years.
Peter is lovingly remembered by his family: his brother Rick (Bev), his sister Bonnie (Bill), and his brother Mike (Sandy). He will also be missed by his nephews Sean (Roseanne), Keith (Danielle), Mark (Michelle), Kyle (Kyla), Creig, Niece Michelle, Grand Nephew Henry and Grand Niece Sloane. Peter is also survived by his beloved extended family, including his Uncle Howard, Aunt Elizabeth, and Aunt Hazel, all residing in England, along with his many cousins in both Canada and England. He was also the nephew of the late Aunt Myrtle and grandson to the late Eric and Mim Rogers.
If you wish to make a donation in Peter’s name, in lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to CAMH or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
Peter will be missed deeply by his family and friends, but his legacy of resilience, faith, and love will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to know him. May he rest in peace.
