Raffaele Schiavone

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raffaele [Ralph]Schiavone, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, who left us suddenly on April 8th, 2025, at the age of 82. He was born in Montaguto, Avellino on February 19,1943 to Giuseppina and Egidio Schiavone.

Ralph lived a life dedicated to hard work and caring for his family, leaving a wonderful legacy. He is survived by loving wife Felicita, his children, Josie (Joe) Egidio (Ornella). His grandchildren Thomas, Alessia, Daniel and Gabriel will forever treasure the wonderful memories, lessons he shared and the many laughs. He is also remembered by his dear sister Annamaria who lives in Italy.

Raffaele was the proprietor of Ralph’s Barber Shop. A landmark for decades at Bay and Wellesley where he treated his customers with care and perfection. He sold the business and continued to work for the current owner who moved the shop just up the road to Bay and Charles St. Ralph followed along working weekends and covering vacations, taking care of his old clients and meeting new ones right to the very last day, doing what he loved to do. Ralph will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
